Private 1:1 Yin Yoga therapy session curated to the client’s individual body, needs, and goals. Yin Yoga offers balance to the body, mind, and spirit.

Yin Yoga is gentle, passive, and meets every client where they are at. Each pose is held for 3-5min and targets the connective tissue, or fascia, to provide deep unwinding physically as well as mentally.

Based on an assessment, a personalized sequence with mindfulness meditation is facilitated. Each private session is unique to each client. No previous yoga experience necessary.

What is private yin yoga?

Private Yin Yoga combines traditional poses of Hatha Yoga, Five Element Theory of Chinese Medicine, and mindfulness meditation of Tibetan Buddhism to create a potent 1-on-1 movement therapy. Yin Yoga offers balance, restoration, and vitalization to the body, mind, and spirit. The poses target different fascial trains or energetic channels of Chinese Medicine with a focus on stillness and mindfulness through mediation techniques. This practice offers vital tools to meet thoughts, emotions, and sensations on and off the mat.

What to expect at a yin yoga session?

Yin Yoga poses are help for 3-5 minutes, committing to stillness, and utilizing mindfulness techniques to embody presence in the body and mind. Using bolsters and cushions as needed, the body is invited to relax as much as possible and allow gravity to unwind the deep fascia layers.

Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing to your session. Each treatment begins with an initial intake that includes a consultation of your current state and goals. Based on the assessment, a personalized sequence with mindfulness meditation is facilitated. Each session is unique to the current goals and needs of each client.
